The apartment is owned by a one-child family, a young female student, and the greatest challenge in decorating was to create a warm, elegant atmosphere that would suit parents as well as the daughter. Another important aspect aimed the halls from one area to the other, as we are dealing with an open-space for the most part of the dwelling.
The result of this interior design project, the apartment is full of light, tidy and airy. The living room, the kitchen and the dining room a visually connected, being an open-space area. The décor and furniture are minimalistic, consisting solely of large shiny wood pieces which make the interior feel warm. With a smart and ergonomic décor, the kitchen includes a kitchen island where a tiny dining area is fitted, in order to gain space.
A special focus is on the daughter’s room which was divided into sleeping area and mini living room. In this area, the vibe is clean, airy, welcoming, the furniture also consisting of shiny wooden pieces, this time white. The furniture’s white is complimented by lilac tones from the wallpaper, armchairs and drapes. The colour association gives off an elegant and sophisticated vibe to the room.
